Comodo announce extensions to hugely successful Instant SSL product range
24 June 2002Today, Comodo, the Internet security specialist, has announced the release date of two new additions to the highly successful Instant SSL product range. InstantSSL™ Pro Certificates and PremiumSSL Wildcard Certificates are to be commercially available through www.instantSSL.com on 1st July 2002.
InstantSSL™ Pro has been introduced to bridge the gap in warranty provision between the basic warranty coverage of Instant SSL and the top-end warranty coverage of PremiumSSL. InstantSSL™ Pro Certificates carry a $1000 financial coverage warranty, considerably higher than the $50 attached to an Instant SSL Certificate, yet lower than the PremiumSSL Certificate warranty of $10,000.
"We have found that some of our customers would prefer a higher warranty to that provided through InstantSSL, yet do not necessarily need the high-end coverage provided by PremiumSSL," says Paul Tourret, Managing Director of Comodo Ltd, "InstantSSL™ Pro provides the middle ground required by a number of SSL customers."
PremiumSSL Wildcard are a cost-effective and efficient means of securing multiple websites with a single PremiumSSL Certificate.
